"Life as I see It"
By Randy Burns
A Double Wars A Comin'
(Hard Pains a Gonna Fall)
I guess it was too easy catching Bin Laden and capturing
all the real terrorists. So it's on to the Bushes inbred target
now, Iraq. I mean, what the hell? With all other problems
solved, and Homeland Security at peak performance, why not return to
Baghdad and topple our favorite nemesis? Good ole Saddam, he's
tired of this crap anyway. And tell me, please, what else do we
have to do? How would it hurt anyone, or disrupt world power in
the least? I fail to see why Germany, France, Saudi Arabia,
Turkey, India, Pakistan, Syria, Russia, or any other Nation would mind
at all.
It's a go then. Into the beehive we send our (or the) young men
again. None with a clue of what war is really like, unless it's
from fifty thousand feet or above. Maybe there's a way to have our
ground forces attack from fifty thousand feet as well. No closer
to the earth. Sky troops, yes our sky-troops will take em from the
air!
Their overall eagerness will make heroes of each one.
And then the big one: Ta Da! "Ladies and Gentlemen, won't you
please put your hands together, and join us in welcoming The New Shah of
Iraq!" I tell ya, you'll see, the world's gonna love us for this
one. It's all planned, we win. Iraq will have a new leader
we can shuffle, and if he gives us any problem, we'll release Noriega
and send him in. We can start buying SUV's again, guilt-free.
Screw off shore drilling, the pure decadence of our overwhelming power
shoving an arrogant Nation into submission, just gives me a hard on.
I mean it, I'm really excited and I'm ready! No Viagra Needed.
This War's gonna make every American capable of lasting forever.
It will surpass aging and disinterest, it will make the Bushes whole
again. It will make all Countries love us. Oil, oil,
everywhere! We'll call the shots-we'll run Iraq.
Wait! What's that? Do I hear dissent out there? Why?
What we're doing is American as apple pie. A few thousand young
men might die, at the most, but we will finally grasp the black gold
that's eluded our countries resources for a long time.
Victory is Ours. No Repercussions. Decadence returns to the
yearning masses. ~
